Story

A Tail Tale Heart Hello. My name is Hannah. I’m a two-and-a-
half-year-old Catahoula hound mix (along
with 22 other breeds, making me truly “one
of a kind”).
I found my forever home with my person,
Yvonne, a year ago. I had been living in
a crack house in Alabama. When I was
rescued, I had just given birth to 14
puppies! After all my offspring had found
homes, Yvonne adopted me.
As you can see by my photo, my rough
beginnings did not affect my good looks.
That’s me, striking a pose lying on my
special place on the sofa, which I’m sharing
with my “baby.”

When I’m not looking glamorous at home,
I’ve become Yvonne’s therapy dog at the
office. I love to greet each client-- I can be
quite exuberant, which puts a smile on
everyone’s face. Sometimes I forget that I’m
not a lap dog, and I wiggle my 58-pound
body onto someone’s lap. But Yvonne
reminds me of my size with a gentle “Down”
command, and I am quick to comply.
So, all that said, feel free to call me
“gorgeous”. You wouldn’t be telling a lie,
and I promise to not let it go to my head!
